Bzzzzzt... it ain't happening. Manually built USTVnow channels from posted example (page 1), started PTVL, scrolled through EGP to new channels (11-17), got CBS to run, moved to CW... froze the NUC. Power button to the rescue.

So here's a whopping 3 mb Debug LOG to tell you all about it.

Just for curiosity, I ran USTVnow plugin directly, and all but ABC channel ran successfully. They may have trouble at the head end.

Please show me the error of my ways

Yeah, not my end... ABC apparently is region blocked for my location... weird!

Yeah, because cache was causing unicode errors. But they fixed it.... It should be in the next update for the common plugin cache addon.

ok luna. fixed the problem. on the ouya. complete format and wipe of device. install gotham. then scrape. next install pseudotv. it accepted donor user/pass, restart/update. run configuration. no errors but i did not see anything different than before so what am i to look for as donor features? that was a pain but i hope someone else will find it useful. also on windows 7. had to delete everything in xbmc folder and reinstall xbmc. it also seems to be working fine. lots of struggling but finally it looks ok. thank you luna and others for help.

Autotune for USTVNow does not seem to be working for me. I cant seem to find anyone else with this same problem on forum posts atm. I do have your USTVNow plugin Luna. I tried it out without PTVL and it worked fine other than the ABC channel which seems to be a blackout issue from what I saw you post. Thanks again for all your work.

Thankyou for your continued hard work for this great addon! as I understand it you are now supporting Gotham? I am on Gotham Beta 3 and have updated to your latest GIT. I have set up PTVL to use interleaved directories for my bumpers, trailers and adverts. Your latest version seems to be ignoring the rules I have set for the BTC's making all my movies and shows play back to back instead.
I made PTVL force a channel reset. Ran it for a few minutes to show the problem and stopped it.
Could you please look at my logs and see what the problem is? LOG

I can let PTVL run its full scan after resetting if you need more on the log. Thanks.

In regards to your BCT support. Would it be possible to add an exclusion option? I cannot currently use it because I have a "guide" channel and children's channels. I wouldn't want to accidentally have a trailer for the latest R rated movie coming up after Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on my childrens channels. Or am I not understanding it correctly?

Lunatixz,have you tried the new "parsing live tv and enhanced data"?,because in my end it does nothing

Autotuning for USTVnow works great! Without logs I can't tell you why it doesn't work for you...

Just in case you want to compare here is the same channel from a previous build of PTVL where it works as intended HERE

Sorry, I think you misunderstand me. I am currently not using the automatic settings in PTVL to create BCT's. I have in fact done them all myself by interleaving directory channels as it gives me more freedom. I have had this setup since using the original PTV. Older versions of PTVL worked it is just the recent builds. The problem I have is that the newer versions of PTVL seem to ignore my channel rules and skip the interleaved directory based channels.

Here is a snippit of my setup

Channel 1 - is a directory channel (It plays a video clip of my channel guide) <--- This channel works fine
Channel 2 - is a directory channel (A folder where I put pre-school educational videos for my daughter) <--- This channel works fine
Channel 3 - is an action genre channel with:
Rule: Interleaved channel 201 - hidden directory channel (Folder with bumpers)
Rule: Interleaved channel 202 - hidden directory channel (Folder with Adverts)
Rule: Interleaved channel 203 - hidden directory channel (Folder with Trailers) ....This rule setup is on all my movie and show channels but the new PTVL skips the interleave rules.

Ahh okay, when I get some free time I'll review your logs. In the meantime can you try disabling system cache under misc. And force rebuild your channels. Let me know if that fixes your problem.

like everyone else, thanks for this awesome piece of work that already took a week of my life and probably much more !
i played for two days with non-live pseudoTV, added some custom playlists, directories to the auto-generated channel lists and all worked great. but after switching to pseudo tv live, i only managed to make only one directory work as a channel and may be one or two playlists.

my settings2.xml contains about 30 type 8 internetTV channels, and a less than 1m xmltv file. my ISP provides those rstp links so i have all french channels with most of channels infos. took a bit of work, but now i no longer need to use my ISP set-top box ! my dream setup is near !
then i added some us network channels, fox, hbo and others, and it's running too. added some youtube channels works great too ! playlists, users videos and search results as channels runs but i had to force random as a rule. changing the 4th in settings2.xml dosn't make any difference.

problems comes when adding any folder. i get a black screen after generating channels. actually it doesn't seem to generate anything, script starts to parse folder then it goes black. i can't exit pseudoTV, i'm forced to force close the xbmc process.
it tried different folders, with and without spaces in name, with and without french special caracters, tried with no empty folder, even messed around with folders persmissions but only one folder don't make pseudoTV blackout.
same thing happends when i add some aldready created playlists that i used to watch from time to time. another channel with pause function to watch a particular show and a lot of rules woks fine, but the same thing with a multishow playlist, no...
with those 2 major functions missing, my dream setup with time-scheduling, folders channels with custom auto-downloaded contents and seem way too far
i have no idea what i'm doing wrong !
(also, your repo doesn't install when in try your zip)
i'll pm you the log file, that would be nice if you could look at it. if you want any more details or other logs...
