The EPG in PSTV isn't displaying the names correctly, it's showing the files names, not the scraped information from XBMC. The problem is that it's half working, as you can see from the images, below, some files show the correct information, whereas the rest don't

The odd thing is, when I reset it, have PSTV auto create the channels, the information displays correctly. Unfortunately with auto mode, it won't let me use smart playlist, it just ignores them. Even if i try with other auto movie genres, then it crashes.

If I choose to auto tune playlists only it seems to loop on it's self. When I load PSTV it asks if I'd like to Auto Tune PVR, I say no, then it asks if I'd like to auto tune custom, i choose yet. The rest I select no. Then I try to load PSTV, it does the same thing over and over again

A major rule of thumb your missing is!! don't post about issues and bugs when your running an old version!
OK, fresh installed it, same issue (although it'd not crashing now Smile )

As you can see in the image, it auto-tuned the TV, Are You Being Served? highlighted, if you look a few lines above it, you'll see the same show, only it has no data with it. It's really odd lol

Old version? Of what? I donwloaded the new file from your repo today, installed it. The last version I couldn't add playlists, this version I can. It's the new version you posted today.

I don't have any other files to install, execpt the one I downloaded this morning at 11.50 am. This is the version you've just posted. The last one it was impossible to add your own custom playlists, as you stated the other day, it was locked out until the next patch, which I got this morning. Huh Now I can use custom playlists, but half the data doesn't follow into PSTV

I don't have all day to argue with you, All i'm saying is...
If you see multiple prompts to auto-tune on startup when you don't have a (Settings2.xml, ie fresh start). your running old code, the new code only prompts once to autotune. You most likely did not follow proper install procedure and you have a mix of old and new code!

Secondly I still have no clue what your issue is... your screenshots show nothing wrong... if your season and episode names are wrong then fix them in XBMC!! thats where Pseudotv gets its info...

I completey deleted everything because it wasn't set up in the first place, there was nothing to save. Add-On from XBMC folder = deleted, User-data= deleted.

I just did the exact same thing only 15 mins ago, completely removed, yet the same issue.

Can you not see the issue? The information is scraped by XBMC, the highlighted "ARE YOU BEING SERVED?" box shows that, a few boxes up it shows THE SAME SHOW with missing data when using CUSTOM PLAYLIST! So how exactly is that XBMC?

Secondly I must be blind, I don't' see "ARE YOU BEING SERVED?" in the photos you sent...

The new update that you posted today, I downloaded it, installed it again, just now. Look at the image, On the left, you'll see brand new settings 2, along with brand new installation (check the date created field in the folders and files). Now look to the right, XBMC is asking the questions that you said it wouldn't ask.

You know what cracks me up... Every few months a guy like you shows up... (search the posts you'll find them) they don't listen, won't listen... All they want to do is argue!! When i'm trying to help!!

Guess what!! their the ones that are always wrong!! You incorrectly installed the script!! want proof?

This is the latest code:
https://github.com/Lunatixz/script.pseud...ay.py#L244

Does it show the prompt you are talking about? no! here is the old code:
https://github.com/Lunatixz/script.pseud...ay.py#L244

I can only help if you are willing to listen...
So, explain to me exactly how I incorrectly installed the script?

I eased everything, there was nothing left of PSTV anywhere. I downloaded you Zip JUST NOW, Opened XBMC, Settings, Add-On, Install from Zip. It said it was installed, I closed it down to make sure. Re-opening, When to program add-on's, settings, reset, then to auto-tune. Checked the box that says Smart Playlists, no others. Clicked OK, and launched PSTV.

Where did I go wrong?

Where did I go wrong?

Two install folders?
Nope, just the one. As I said earlier, I only had that one install that I downloaded this morning. I've uninstalled the add-on 4 times.

Removed both

C:\Users\Asa\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\script.pseudotv.live-master
C:\Users\Asa\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\addon_data\script.pseudotv.live

Is there a cache within XBMC?

This time around, no matter how many smartplaylist channels I put it, it says no channels configured
