Me to.
Also, not very many of the recently added youtube channels are getting auto tuned. Has anybody else been noticing that?
2 channels of ustvnow work for me the other ones just have black screen and crash xbmc also some live strms work and some crash xbmc they all work in xbmc plugin/strm files but not in ptvl. i checked my log and it seems like the ones that are crashing are trying to seek ahead.

I can tell that's the case for USTVNow because I tune into a certain channel and it flashes "seeking" notification and then freezes. I then have to quit out of XBMC and restart.
Hi
i just upgraded to Gotham to test PTVL with the latest build.

my settings consist of only
<settings>

<setting id="Channel_22_type" value="9" />
<setting id="Channel_22_1" value="5400" />
<setting id="Channel_22_2" value="http://192.168.1.1:9981/stream/channelid/18" />
<setting id="Channel_22_3" value="Channel 22" />
<setting id="Channel_22_4" value="Channel 22" />
<setting id="Channel_22_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_22_rule_1_id" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_22_rule_1_opt_1" value="Channel 22" />

</settings>

the stream is a tvheadend server and it works in frodo and if i put it in a strm file (so i know the stream is ok)
once i start PTVL, it just says "no channels configured, would you like pseudotv live to auto tune channels"
once i go back to settings2.xml it is reset to default.

Have you tried changing from rtmp to rtsp in ustvnow settings I mentioned two weeks ago that ustvnow rtmp servers were having problems.

You might want to overriding stream check.

do u have feedparser module installed and youtube plugin installed?

:: Update ::

I think i found a way to create network content from youtube, but it doesn't seem worth the effort if the community list doesn't grow...

My Pitch:

Youtube playlists have a max of 200 videos, Users can start building playlists for example, playlist : Youtube_Playlist_NBC_1, Youtube_Playlist_NBC_2, etc.....
I will write code to shuffle through all playlists for each network at combine them to create one channel...

It's limitless since we don't have to deal with a one playlist media limit, and the network name could be anything you want (ie. Youtube_Playlists_Cartoons_1)....

what do you think? if you like the idea get started building the playlists and i'll post example lists over at the community page.
I added a ton of content to the playlists but backed off because I didn't see many others contributing. Luna as always thanks for the continued effort and addressing users issues. hopefully you see plenty of folks contributing shots to make up for your time.

Found the USTVnow problem, fix in next update...

if i try rtsp no ustvnow channels work with rtmp at least 2 do lol i sent you a log a few days ago.and it's not just ustvnow other strms that used to work in pstvl don't now but they still work in xbmc. from looking at the log and testing it seems the ones that no longer work are trying to seek ahead when played causing them to freeze some one else was having the same problem.

now it works.
but the same settings that worked in frodo stream + EPG now freezes the plugin all together.
should i do anything special to get it to work with epg?

this is what i have in the settings2
<settings>
<setting id="Channel_22_type" value="8" />
<setting id="Channel_22_1" value="22" />
<setting id="Channel_22_2" value="http://192.168.1.1:9981/stream/channelid/18" />
<setting id="Channel_22_3" value="xmltv" />
<setting id="Channel_22_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_22_changed" value="False" />
<setting id="Channel_22_time" value="32" />
<setting id="Channel_22_rule_1_id" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_22_rule_1_opt_1" value="Channel 22" />
</settings>

i have another frodo machine with the same exact file and it works there.
