I too am unable to update xmltv.xml with MC2XML.
Getting the TCP 124363R 124356H error.
Has anyone been able to figure out what is happening?
I have tried disabling firewall all together to make sure it wasn't interfering but it didn't help.

After the update now when I play any video even from my own library not through pstvl my external player launches and the video plays fine but when it is over the video just restarts. If I close the video player (mpc-hd) it just relaunches and plays the same video. I can not get back to Xbmc to select another file to watch, I have to open Task manager and close xbmc then close mpc-hd. Please help me fix this issue it is making xbmc unusable for me.
You said it happens when you are not running PTVL... I think you should ask for help in another thread.
NO I dont think so. I believe its PTVL I have not installed any other add ons in months and it did not start doing it till the first time I launched PTVL after the update. And I am probably wrong but I thought the PTVL service runs in the background all the time?
my debug xbmc.log: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=292122
my debug xbmc.old.log: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=292123
my XBMC crashlog: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=292124
Yes but not doing anything.... Many of the functions are disabled ATM.
I'm 99% sure its unrelated to PTVL!

That's the error I'm getting... Never got it b4, and I've been using mc2xml for a few years now.
We should save any future mc2xml posts for pm's or a proper thread

Yup when in throw up a VPN it works again... Maybe they increased sensitivity of their anti hammering detection.
So how do we use our own xmltv file to get ustvnow working again? I'm already using one for my hdhomerun channels.

Google... You will find tons of info... Don't want this thread to turn into a xmltv discussion.
There's a bug i've always been experiencing that has never been fixed throughout all the updates, most of the times when i change channel (like 99.7% of the times), it doesn't keep playing the video from real time. it's just reset the video and play it from the beginning. why? and I emphasizing, THAT IS A BUG - cause seldom it works fine (keep on from real time), but often it just resets the video to the beginning.
Just that you'll understand what I mean, here's what happened when I went through all my channel (you see every video got reset):

Its a known issue with XBMC's subtitle service. If you remove your subtitle files from the same folder the media is in... Seek will work properly.

don't keep them locally, let the xbmc service load them over the internet when you need them... remember to have the service "NOT" save them locally after download.

Some plugin channels in the addon.xml file cause my Autotune to hang at "parsing". Is this likely because some plugins on the Autotune XML are untested and simply may be bad? Or could there be another reason it's hanging?
The one in question at the moment is RetrowareTV/Recent Videos.
Says "Building PluginTV, parsing retrowaretv".
