In ACE Skin there isnt any problem with it,
so somthing is wrong with the skin widgets with mq5 skin i think Huh

I found the problem, maybe with it you can correct it,
I unistall the "ExtendedInfo Script by phil65 - http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=160558" and now it works great again, so the problem it with skin widets and extendedinfo for sure,
hope you can figure up a solution

Hi MQ, Tried your suggestion above (x3) but still no luck. I have also looked in the xbmc log file and searched for 'skin.widget', 'widget' and even for the word 'error', however there is nothing found in the log file, so I'm not sure why I would post a log file to the author of skin.widget as suggested, as their is no error to report?

FYI-
Starting XBMC (12.2 Git:20130502-32b1a5e), Platform: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit, build 7601.

Any further suggestions MQ or someone else?

You can see the X of La Roux gets cut off on the right side. When I change full screen to windowed view (1024*576 = 16:9 aspect ratio) it does show properly.
My resolution is 1680*1050 (16:10 screen), latest monthly of xbmc on win 7 x64

Also the play button on the widget is not aligned in the center of the cover in full screen, but that's also the case with movies and tv shows

If your resolution is 16:10 the posters will be cut off. Only 16:9 resolutions are supported, ie 1920x1080 or 1280x720 as the most common resolutions.

Ok, that's clear then, thanks Wanilton, but maybe you want to think about this as well for a future version.
The aspect ratio for other devices like smartphones and tablets (iPads for example are 4:3=16:12) isn't always 16:9 as well. Smile

If I stretch XBMC to a 4:3 resolution, for example 1024*768 it looks very wrong in some places, especially on the music widget. That will show on those other devices.

LOL, I didn't have 'Extended Info Script' installed, so I installed it, restarted xbmc and then....guess what?

All is working fine now \0/

Not sure what's going on though, as you suggested uninstalling 'Extended Info Script'. hmmmm.... very strange!

I am running Gotham and my skin as auto updated but to frodo anyone know where I can get the zipped version for Gotham,
Also XBMC is now crashing when I scan my movie data base, not sure if its related

My XBMC is now crashing when I scan for new movie now sure why

I have got some really strange skin behavior. I'm using MQ5 1.63..........How do I uninstall and reinstall?

That is one of the strange behaviors......I go to add-on manager and it's options to uninstall or disable are greyed out............
