DTS passthrough Works fine with XBMC for OUya 12.3.3

If you go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost...ostcount=1
i go by mejdam in xda i list a couple of formats

Video Formats:
720p - Works - XBMC for Ouya and SPMC 12.3.3
1080i - Works - XBMC for Ouya and SPMC 12.3.3
1080p - Works - XBMC for Ouya and SPMC 12.3.3

Audio
DTS: Works (XBMC for Ouya through HDMI and through optical audio)
Dolby Digital: Works (XBMC for Ouya through HDMI and through optical audio)

Loseless Audio: have these options disabled under system - audio - disable DTS-HD and TrueHD else you'll get nothing but static. it will atleast pass it as stereo.
DTS-HD MA: doesnt work with HDMI (in case you are wondering, optical audio doesnt support DTS-HD MA)
TrueHD :doesnt work with HDMI (in case you are wondering, optical audio doesnt support DTS-HD MA)

Bluray Remux (Only on XBMC for Ouya 12.3.2)
AVC, 1080p, High @ 4.1, DTSHD-MA, 5.1 - Video and audio plays fine as long as you disabled DTS-HD passthrough and run as stereo
AVC, 1080p, High @ 4.1, TrueHD, 7.1 - Video and audio plays fine as long as you disabled TrueHD passthrough and run as stereo
VC-1, 1080p, AP@L3, TrueHD, 6 - Video doesnt display but audio will play fine as long as you disabled TrueHD passthrough and run as stereo

Works just as good as the original 12.3.3
Good! That reduces the culprits to 3 commits Smile

Great job narrowing it down!
A lots of dropped frames with spmc-armeabi-v7a_12.3.3_3

Well, that reduces to one Wink
Half-good news, because I really have no idea why, right now...

[EDIT]
@DiegoMejia, could you also confirm, please.
Has anyone seen this? A way to sideload without having to install android sdk on a PC, just using your android phone if you have one:

So instead of adb on your pc you use adb on a phone? How is that easier? There was no setup for adb on my macbook, just download, unzip, cd to directory and go. At least for me only way to make it easier would be a download from the amazon store on the firetv itself.
@ MrMichaelJames

Well in my case my Droid Media streamer is secured to the back of my TV that is hung on the wall.... so trying to get a usb cable ran from my PC to the streamer is kind of a pain so this is a GREAT option in some cases.

Just because it is doing the same thing, sometimes doing it a different way is appreciated just like the whole Mac vs. Windows debate LOL they both do roughly the same function it just depends if you prefer to use a hammer to pull the nail or a crowbar

I've actually done that several times. I'll see if I can add those steps to the wiki.
Are we going to, eventually, see a xbmc version for the fire tv?
I ask because my mother wants a topbox for xbmc streaming basically and this device seems like a cool one.
For some reason, I'm not able to get Monsters to play okay on any of the 12.3.3 builds.

Here's 12.3.3 (one linked to from Wiki as of a day or two ago): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8IuDSJg4Es

Here's 12.3.3_2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3maVf5AwHhI

Both of these are with fresh installs of the APK, no setting changes other than adding my network paths.

Let me know how I can debug further

Just to make sure your setup is similar to mine, is your Fire TV audio set to Dolby Digital off and is the video set at 720p? XBMC audio should be at 2.0 and video hardware acceleration should be enabled. I was streaming via UPnP over WiFi.

I will be home in a couple hours to be able to test the new builds and finalize my Llama profile that I will then share.
