Hi,
I am currently running nextpvr but want to run Mythtv on a linux server. I only used nextpvr because I had a windows media center setup with cable cards that I am moving away from to a antenna based system.

Anyways I don't have any myth stuff setup, but was wondering if the cmyth addon or the mythbox addon support recording series from the XBMC front end?

I'm actually a little curious about this as well.

Yep, the cmyth addon does. While in the epg press the guide button on remote (c on kb), then select client actions.
