Is there anyway to turn off the extended weather forecast as the 6th and 7th days have no weather info so there is just a yellow line on those days.

I am using the Yahoo weather plugin.

No, not easily.
I would try to use "OpenWeatherMap" instead if you can. Not only does Yahoo not do days 6 and 7, but none of the other forecasts work either, but they do on OWM.
