Tried to do a debug log and it keeps telling me the script failed?? Seems like my XBMC is not working for anything

We are going to need a lot more information than that. What is the actual issue? Just that you can not do a debug log? What version of XBMC/Kodi are you trying to run? Where did you get it from? Does XBMC/Kodi not even launch? Give more information than you think you need to.
