I'm still new to all aspects of XBMC/Kodi, so please be patient...I have spent many hours during the last couple of days trying to seek out answers for myself, yet I'm still stuck.

System Info:
- XBMC on Windows 7
- Access by Ipad 2 and IOS 7.1
- I *have* successfully connected to my XBMC player using the remote app

1 - First off, I do really appreciate the app, the interface is very clean and works very well.

2 - Is there any online documentation available for Kodi Remote for iOS?
(that is, other than the screen shots at: http://kodi.wiki/view/Official_XBMC_Remote/iOS)

3 - On my ipad, when selecting "Watch your movies", I get "No items found." on the right.
- I read that I should touch on the "No items found." message and "swipe down" so that the ipad would sync with my XBMC.
- I did the swipe/sync, but it still says "No items found."

Nothing changes even if I press (at the bottom) the blue film camera icon, the film roll icon, the folder/film icon, or the other small film camera icon.
However, if I press the three gray dots, they turn blue, and I see the drop down list with Music Videos, Files, and Video Addons.

At this point, if I select "Files", I am finally able to see my the Video Source folders that I have set up in XBMC, and everything works fine.

Although I'm able to access my shared folders and files using this method, it is cumbersome and click-heavy.

Is there a way I can get my folders and files (ie, the movies) to show up simply by using the "Watch your movies" option?

Thanks.

Hello,

Yes there is a way. You need to build a video library -> http://kodi.wiki/view/Video_management as well for the music there is a music library -> http://kodi.wiki/view/Adding_music_to_the_library
