It is possible that your gfx card just doesn't cut it. http://kodi.wiki/view/Supported_hardware

You need some log to see what is happening and why it's tripping up. Make sure you are installing with administrator with privileges, and you have direct x9 available. According to the wiki table Nvida needs to be series 6 or better (not sure what series your card is) but from the forum it looks like other users have run versions of XBMC with that card.
delete C:\Users\Your_User_Name\AppData\Roaming\Kodi and re-install
Use an advancedsettings.xml file with debug enabled in that file http://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Advanced

Try this go to regedit.exe > hkey current user > software > kodi then right click the folder and delete it. Restart your computer. Go to control panel and make sure kodi is not there, if is still there uninstalled from there as well. Restart again. Install a fresh copy of kodi or xbmc i suggest installing xbmc because it's been around longer xbmc 13.2
Let me know how everything goes.
before you do this i have one question are you starting kodi from a desktop shortcut?

You have to manually make the advancedsettings.xml file with a text editor see link above.
copy and paste this into it
<advancedsettings>
<loglevel>2</loglevel> <!-- Change this to "1" to hide the on-screen debug log text -->
</advancedsettings>
save off as advancedsettings.xml an place in the C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata

Silly question, but does the computer have audio devices attached/installed?
