not sure if I get your question. make zip creates a zip file which you can install from kodi.

may i ask another question - not related to vnsi/vdr but to script-addons in general - if there is a resources/language/Englisch directory with a single strings.xml and i copy the directory English to "German" and translate the strings.xml - what else is needed to see the translation/tramslated texts?

where do you see a string.xml? we use string.po, which is the files we look for the translated strings

i am fiddling around with an outdated asterisk addon - and there is a strings.xml inside resources/language/Englisch ......
