Hello I am having issues with Kodi stuttering/pausing between changing menu items. Moving from TVshows to Movies. I am running the following:
OS: Windows 8.1
Kodi: 14.2 Helix
Skin: Aeon Nox 5.5
CPU: Core I5
Ram: 8 Gigs
SSD: 120gig
All supporting scrapped images for all my Movies, TV Shows, Music, and wallpaper for each section are stored on an unRAID NAS, in a flat file system inline with the media. I am pretty darn sure the file connections to my unRAID NAS to pull down and display this data is what is causing the slowness when trying to move between menu items in Kodi.
Is there a way I can tell kodi to cache all my Music, TV, and Movie art, in it's local db, which would reside on the HTPC (120 gig SSD) and not try to pull this data from my NAS? Is it supposed to already do this? How does this work with things like the CD Art Manager Script, and Artwork Downloader? (both of which i have used)
