I'd like to add something similar to the Plex "On Deck" facility showing movies and TV shows recently watched. I have tried to do this with the video node editor add on, but nodes don't seem to show up.

Any ideas of how I can make nodes appear, or another way of adding recently viewed items please?

btw, nodes don't show up on the home menu, but in your video library.
if you add them to favourites, you can map them to a home menu button
