Intermittent problem tuning SD live TV channels (problem only occurs if SD channel is a subchannel). Relevant part of Kodi log below -

Also if I can tune the subchannel I get audio stuttering.

If I use the Mythtv front end I have no trouble tuning the subchannel and getting clear audio.
Also if I schedule a recording for the subchannel there are no problems with the recording. The channel is
acquired and the sound in the recording is fine.

PS: Thank you for a great product.
Additional information on audio stuttering on subchannels. It occurs both for the Nvidia HDMI sound and for the output of my Xonar D2 sound card.
