I'm very new to Kodi (trying now on Pi2), and I would like to have a setup where all menus/setup/submenus can be hidden/ if I wanted to.
For example I only want it to show Videos, Movies, Series, Music as menu items, and by selecting one of those it would instantly jump to the preset media folder; no option/submenu for genre, adding new library items etc, just list of the specific folders/files. As far as I saw, Aeon MQ5 is said to be highly customisable, is it the right choice to achieve such?

A lot of skins can now do that - it's a personal choice as to what you prefer.

thank you! could you be a bit more specific and suggest some? or is it more or less enough to take a look at the skin comparison topic and try skins with custom home items: yes?
