Can somebody explain me how to set up the thumbnail for a movie that have more parts.
I make a concrete sample:
on my movies database I have the Lord of the ring extended version, each movie have been saved on 2 different folder for each part

Thanks
You have one folder "Lord of the Rings (2001)" in settings>video>file lists>combine split videos

1st part named "Lord of the Rings-CD1.avi"
2nd part named"Lord of the Rings-CD2.avi"

or

use rename title in the context menu, and delineate between Part 1 & 2 in the tile.

or

Use MKVmerge to join them into one.

or

1st part named "Lord of the Rings"
2nd part "Lord of the Rings-trailer"

or

Use add-on video extras, create a foler called extras in the folder and throw in the 2nd part "Lord of the Rings"

or

Searching using Google and the terms "kodi joining split videos" brings a multitude of messages regarding this issue as in http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=166586

or

read the wiki 4 Split video files (file stacking) http://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_files/Movies
Thanks!
The first option look perfect to me.
I will try tonight
