Now I´m using the last Kodi RC1 from Wanilton with Titan Skin. And: I got still the same problem
AMD with internal GPU and Intel with Nvidia GPU - same on both PC´s ...
....any ideas?!

You can configure DSPlayer to use external filters. Is this what you are asking?
To fix the cut-off text, set Kodi to 1920 x 1080p and then change it back.

I have tried to debug the error. I'm not good in debugging but i can see the LAVvideo.ax causes the error and i guess it happens in the thread CLAVOutputPin Video but i'm not sure.
I have no clue how to debug this low level stuff.
imy portable old version wont play 4k files either nw suspect an issue with the new lav or ad vr version but they play fine with mpc-hc. Kodi standard krypton plays everything fine as well.
I have copied the 'old' lav from DSPlayer 16.1 into DSPlayer 17 but the crash is the same. So i guess something other changed. But as i have a GTX950 i'm only able to play 4k with DSPlayer with DXVA enabled. I can't use
the other options because of to less power.
I use the DVDPlayer from Kodi to play 4k HEVC and most of the other stuff with DSPlayer. So no big lost for me this time.
i reinstalled latest lav and madvr from scratch, the jarvis DS is working again now so i'm going back to that. Most of my stuff is 1080p so i've using MPC-HC as an external player for the 4k stuff that wont play, mostly 10 bit and HDR 4k stuff that wont play nice with MADVR.
Yes but...the 4K files that crashed in my experience of these days are 8bit and no HDR....in addition to this with the previous release I didn't have this problem.

Had same Problem yesterday. Had to close kodi via task manager and restart it to fix this error...
Didnt need to close via Taskmanager. Just pressed "x" and the movie stops. But the error comes back every time Kodi goes forward to the next movie. Also if I try to switch manualy with the forward-key
Edit: Ok, need to kill kodi via taskmanager also..
Just FYI let me tell you that I updated the LAV filters and used them with the last release of Dsplayer of this thread and it crashes with 4k files no matter what, maybe not in the beginning but after few minutes, so the problem it's really with this Dsplayer release. Hope it will be fixed now the 4k content start being relevant (at least in my library), not being able to play it is quite bad. However Wanilton for your time and work.

Out of curiosity, what kind of 4K content are you watching?
To see Kodi adopt madVR 3Dlut files is somewhat... ironic? All things considered. I keep hoping for a direct implementation, sooner or later, at least as an optional plugin for video renderer.
