Hi,

after update kodi-pvr-vdr-vnsi from 1.10.4-1 to 1.10.6-1 I can't switch to another channel for my DVB-S receiver. Only one channel is available.
For all other channels I get following message:

Channel switch for all DVB-T devices works good as before. Rollback to previous version of kodi-pvr-vdr-vnsi solve the problem.

Thanks in advance.

Environment:
* Linux Ubuntu 15.04
* vdr 2.2.0 inclusive all plugins (latest GIT version) are self compiled
* kodi 15.0 beta (latest nightly build)
Go to vnsi addon-on settings and set priority to -1

Hi,

thanks for the fast reply.

I install the new version of kodi-pvr-vdr-vnsi again and change the priority to -1 but this didn't solve the problem (full restart of kodi). The same behaviour as before.

Some additional information:

* 2 DVB-T USB devices and one DVB-S USB device are connect to my VDR server.
* set priority -1 also for version 1.10.4-1
Does it work with priority 0 or greater?
v1.10.4 displayed priority incorrectly. -1 actually was 0.

Hi,

thanks. I set the priority to 0 and it works now. Wink.

Hint: After update to version 1.10.6-1 the priority is automatic set/change from -1 to -99. It is good to know, that you have to look deeper into the configuration Big Grin.

Regards,
Stefan

ps: Danke und noch einen ruhigen Pfingstmontag. Big Grin
setting it to "0" does also sovle a problem with "dvbapi". With "-1" or lower, dvbapi didn't work also.
do you have any other plugins installed for vdr?

Note that you can't use VDR's activate CAM function when priority is > -1

Yes, but not something like CAM support. Anyway thanks for the info. For me everything works good, now.

If I understand it correctly, there is a problem that should be solved anyway. So I can wait for the fix. Wink
Actually all should work as expected with 1.10.6 and current master branch of vnsiserver.

Quote:Yes, but not something like CAM support.

The problem is that some plugins pretend to be a dvb device which may influence channel priority required for getting a device for a channel requested. If you start vdr with native gui you won't expect a remote client to interrupt playback. There are plugins for vdr with make vdr believe it was native in gui mode.
I am quite sure that -99 and -1 will work if you disable other plugins. In order to locate the culprit you could re-enable them one by one.
