Dear all,
I recently wanted to change my setup to have a central DVB-S/ S2 appliance in my network. The card I chose was a Digital Devices Cine S2 (v6.5), my system is a Debian Wheezy based one with OpenMediaVault on top of it.
So I installed the drivers according to it's necessities and was able to install TVHeadend 3.9.2827~g477feab~wheezy on my box.
The first configuration worked - after some problems - quite well and about 800 channels were able to be mapped.
So far, so good. But finally, I wanted to have the Live-TV via Kodi on Amazon Fire TVs and a Windows machine, so I installed the TVHeadend HTSP Client (v 1.9.40) and configured it according to my needs (IP Adress, and user/ pass as set in the Access entries tab on TVH).
On one of my machines (the Windows one), the EPG was read, but when I try to access the Live TV, I receive an error in Kodi, stating "HTSP Client: stream setup error" and "Disconnected from Server".
The logfile on the server side says:
The client on the Windows machines states:
From my point it has to be an issue between TVHeadend and Kodi, as when I try to access the live TV via VLC, it works.
What I did so far after reading several sites on the net was to:
- Set the "Full DiseqC" to enabled,
- set the standard streaming of the user to matroska and
- a complete reinstallation.
Unfortunately, none of these methods did the trick. Therefore I hope to any suggestion on how to solve my problems.
Thank you for your feedback,
best regards,
Connor
