I just installed the plugin and when viewing channels I am unable to rewind or ff also called timeshifting. I am using Kodi 15 beta 2. Is this not possible?

it should be possible unless you are using the direct DLNA mode of a HDHR device? You didnt mention much about your setup so it's hard to say. If you can provide information about your setup and a ServerWMC log it might provide more info

It works in 14 but not as smooth as it is in WMC but does not work in 15 at all. I am not using DLNA.

I'd suggest posting a Kodi bug about it if it's a problem in the beta, doesn't sound like it's addon specific... It would be worth seeing whether you get the problem on static ts files or only growing ones (ie ad they are being written to)

I installed a nightly and it works so it is a problem with beta 2.
