I just updated my ServerWMC to 1199. My clients are older XBMC 13.2 using PVR Client 0.2.99.
They no longer get recording list updates. I have to reboot the unit to get the latest recordings and they don't update after that.
The older clients shouldn't make a difference. What version of swmc did you have installed previously? Post the 1199 swmc log after a restart and letting it run for about a half an hour with a client active.
It looks like, somehow, the http service got enabled after I updated. I'll bet that 0.2.99 client does not support http service. Now that I've turned it off, things appears to be working.
Am I right that 0.2.99 does not support http service?

You are right, but I can't see how the http service could make any difference, since by default kodi doesn't use it. Anyway, I'll take working any day.
Then I'm not sure why it's working. I actually downgraded to 1190, realized that http was enabled, disabled it, found everything working, and then upgraded again, so there's a number of steps where things could have been resolved...
Well, that wasn't it. I enabled http and the problem didn't recur. It must have been something else, though I don't know what it was. Everything is working now.
Usually this kind of stuff I attribute to kodi's pvr database, but who knows.
