I am a first-time user, using Kodi 15.0, and an issue I'm running into is that any time my Windows task scheduler runs windowed background tasks they take away the UI focus from Kodi. I have Kodi configured to run in D3D Fullscreen mode, but nonetheless if the task scheduler tries to run something like uTorrent while Kodi is running - the background task takes the focus away from Kodi UI, and Kodi ends up minimized.

Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

This is an o/s issue, changing the task priority of a windows program. http://www.wikihow.com/Change-Process-Pr...sk-Manager might help.

Setting task priority doesn't help. Try KodiLauncher which restores focus to Kodi window if it's lost.
