Is it possible to have the date shown on most (if not all) windows, in the top right next to the clock - i.e. when pressing the 'Info' button on the remote?

That's not possible. This functionality must be directly supported by Kodi itself, not only be the skin.

I've seen it on a least 2 other skins.

The date info is always shown under the clock in every screen. What's the point of your request?
