I don't know any intel devices with display ports, they are ussually HDMI

Weighing the evidence (as little as it is) I'd say the ad is a little different than your typical DP to HDMI adapters. It's explicitly stating what the adapter is capable of.....more than once. Even showing off its "premium chip" in one of the pics. And since now is about the time we'd expect to see such an adapter, as well it's a new product to the store selling it.....it's showing some credence to the claims. Let's not forget the Tom Harware thread comment as well.

i think we need the PS8409 chip for the DP to Hdmi 2.0 converter. PS8402A still hdmi1.4b.

i'm aware that HDMI1.4 can do 4k@60hz but not 4:4:4 color space, that's why i said we need the new chip not the PS8402A to be able to utilize full function of HDMI2.0.
If this adaptor does do a full 3840x2160/60p Displayport to 4:2:0 3840x2160/60p HDMI 2.0 (via HDMI 1.4 bandwith) conversion then it will be very useful to many of us with TVs that only accept 4:2:0 at 2160/60p (and don't accept 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 at full 4K 60p) - like many Sony UHD sets.
4:2:0 2160/60p is an HDMI 2.0 resolution - it isn't in the HDMI 1.4a spec - but can be carried over HDMI 1.4 bandwidth connections. (AIUI some CE manufacturers lobbied for 4:2:0 to be added to HDMI 2.0 precisely to allow them to use HDMI 1.4a physical connections. Given that any conventional consumer video source of pre-recorded or live commercial content is likely to be 4:2:0 - as all consumer DVB, ATSC, DVD and Blu-ray content is - this wasn't a major compromise. However it is a limitation if you shoot your own 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 content, or want to use the display as a PC screen)

i agree with you said but 4k@60p is not enough, because bluray 4k will have HDR and 10bit videos, which only capable on HDMI2.0a. As of now i think the best bet is to wait to the new adapter with the new Parade PS8409 chip or wait for skylake Nuc with Alpine bridge chipset.
