Over the past few weeks or months, I have noticed that I am seeing more brief glitches when watching live TV. The video and audio just pause briefly for a few seconds then the video continues on. These seem to be totally random and up to now haven't been frequent enough to try to address. The happens about every 5-10min.

ServerWMC and Kodi (Isengard 15.2) are on the same computer running Win 7. I don't think this is a ServerWMC issue but would appreciate any tips on how to troubleshoot. I have examined the ServerWMC log when I observe the glitch and don't see anything obvious. I have checked Task Manager to see if other tasks could be interfering but again no obvious pattern.

A couple of weeks ago I changed the buffers mentioned above to 2000 but it didn't seem to change behavior.

Apprecaite any comments.
Did you try setting the video playback options. Specifically the refresh and sync video settings? That served to clear up my issues
I saw your note in the other thread. I made those changes a couple of hours ago. Will monitor to see if it made a difference. Thanks
Hope it works out for you
I had to change the video playback options back to the original. IT seemed like the payback was laggy. No definite stops just not a uniform playback speed. It didn't seem to impac thte playback glitches I was seeing when the playback stopped for a few seconds at a time
Have you tried turning off dvxa2 (or whatever its called) acceleration? Its been effecting trick modes in Kodi 15 and windows maybe its doing this too.
I gave that a shot tonight and will monitor to see if it makes a difference.

Could it be related to signal strength? Typically the playback just pauses for a few seconds without any pixelation that you normally associated with poor signal strength but thought I would ask.
I don't know either, I think there would just be a gap of data the the remux can't interpret so it would just wait. Do you see this on some channels more than others? Also did you see this when you were using kodi 14?
So turning off dvxa2 did not change the occurrence of these glitches. It is hard to to see if this is a function of the channel. I did a survey of the signal strength on the HDHomeRun Prime channels and the signal strength looks good. Is it possible to get an indication of the signal strength in one of the log files or detect a gap in the data affecting the remux?
Just set swmc to not delete the temporary file, then just play the ts file back directly (i.e. not live) - see if it plays smoothly.

Assuming the ts file plays smoothly offline, do you have a different drive you could relocate the remux folder to as a test?

Did you have this problem with kodi 14?
I don't remeber this happening as much earlier this year. I upgraded to Isengard in July. I can move the remux folder to a differnet drive
Ok I tried relocating my TempSWMC folder to my SSD to see if that might reduce the number of glitches. I already had the folder redirected to a separate (non-SSD) drive on my system.

After I relocated the folder, everything worked on my main HTPC running win7 and Kodi Isengard 15.2.

Unfortunately live TV stopped working on my OpenElec box. Here is what the ServerWMC log looks like, This certainly looks like a permissions issue but I have not been able to figure how to get it to work again.

It looks like you moved the recorded tv folder to a different drive, is that right? I think its either the credentials entered are not correct for this drive or the drive is not shared.
I moved to a different drive. I shared the symbolic link in the recorded TV folder. I guess I should have shared the folder on the new drive directly. I will try that tonight when I get home.
Yeah with SMB it typically wont follow symlinks unless you set the SMB options, which you can do on Linux (I do this on my NAS) but i dont know that you can set the "follow symlinks" SMB properties on a windows file share
