I apologize if this is the wrong forum to post this but Boxee is on a Linux platform so I decided to post here. Would anybody know if there is a way to change the brightness for videos on Kodi for Boxee? I do not have the OSD option for brightness as per the image below:

Yes - there is - but not with the default kodi builds. You need an EGL version as mainline only uses VAAPI for rendering where this brightness setting has no effect. I would check your TV's calibration though. Try an OpenELEC version from a stick from this thread, please: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=231955 to see if that is what you want.
