So, I've recently found out about Kodi boxes, I was told it was a box you buy off the internet, plugs into your tv, connects to your WiFi and bam, instant access to tv shows! Sounds great, until I tried to find a Kodi box...

Found this and thought great, it mentions Kodi, but it wasn't what I was expecting to find, so then I do some research and I am so confused. There seems to be Kodi for ios, android etc, but this box isn't anything I've read about so far. Sigh.
I will admit, I'm not techie, so I need something simple.

So I guess what I'm asking, is this box in this link, Kodi ready? I want to give it as a Christmas present to someone equally as techie as me...

Please any help would be great fully accepted!

Thanks in advance.

Ps merry Christmas ?

sound like illegal, sounds like piracy.

First, you've posted in the wrong subforum as your question have nothing to do with "PVR" feature which is what this specific subforum is about, read http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR

Suggest that you post your question in the hardware forum instead, see http://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=112

Secondly, but before you post again please read http://kodi.wiki/view/Free_content and http://kodi.wiki/view/Official:Forum_rul...ed_add-ons and http://kodi.wiki/view/First_time_user

Remember that if something sounds too good to be true, like "free movies and tv shows" then it probabably is either not true or illegal, so think before asking.
