Kodi Remote connection problem

I installed Kodi Remote a few weeks back and it worked great.
Today - during remote use, it hung. I rebooted both Kodi (Ubuntu) and the Kodi android app and it still remained in a "hung" state.

I then uninstalled Kodi Remote and re-installed ... and now I can't connect. It sees my XBMC/Kodi system, but won't let me log in.

Truly puzzled ...

I can log into Ubuntu/Kodi through the desktop, but the remote no longer connects or functions.

Thread moved to Linux

Solved ... turns out to be a non-issue.
(not sure why the thread was moved to Linux support. This was a Kodi - Kore remote issue.)
