I've using 2 video outputs on my PC (Revo 3610, running Linux), and they both work fine independently when I select the output ports (HDMI and VGA), however for some reason the VGA port (a projector) is set to "default", which is annoying when I reboot and get no picture on the TV until I switch on the projector and change the video output..

How do I change the "default" video output option to be the HDMI port?

There is no solution from within kodi - modify your xorg.conf please. Depending on what distribution you are running, this distribution has a manual site on how to do that.
