Full Version: thumbnail preview on video overlay for no content set videos?

I noticed when you play videos without "content set" their thumbnail preview does not show on the video overlay like how movie posters do for video that have "content set"

Is there a setting in Metropolis to add that and if not any chance you could add it?

I did noticed some video add-ons do show there thumbnail preview on the video overlay like Youtube and IGN for example.

Thanks
The player content has to be set to one of Episodes, Movies, MusicVideos, or LiveTV. If the add-on doesn't set any of those, then it at least has to set VideoPlayer.Cover, which is the default poster/thumb if the content is unrecognized.

Ok so there is no way to get the thumbnail for random video files to appear on the video overlay unless you set their content understood.

Thanks
Correct. Same for add-ons, though it's the add-on author's responsibility to do that, not yours as the end-user.
