Hi everyone,

I just build a new pvr server with an hauppauge HVR-1600.
MSI B85 board and nvidia gt 440. Windows 7 Home premium 64bit
Everything is working in Windows Media Center

But when I try with serverWMC and kodi, I can play a recording but I am unable to watch live tv. I have tried all available versions of serverWMC (199, 1225 and 1233 preview) and I have tried with kodi 16.1 and kodi 15.2. When I tried to watch live tv, both kodi and serverwmc crashes. I have been using the same hauppauige card on an older system recently and everything was working. I have tried with kodi locally or on remote computers (Windows and mac) And I worked once or twice. But almost all of the time it crashes. I will pastebin my serverwmc log.

Do any of you have experienced the same bug?

No, I have not seen this bug before and I'm confused why you are getting it (also I'm very surprised that it is crashing kodi). I think I know why the exception is getting triggered though, so I will try to address that and we can take it from there. I will put up a preview release and hopefully you can test it. I'll let you know here what it is up.

I actually think I found what was causing this bug.
see line 165 "165.2016/09/08 13:43:50.043 Main> uncaught exception: System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format."
This lead me to this article on microsoft's site :

I then changed my Region and Language settings to English (United States) and it works now.

Thanks for that info, that is what I suspected too. I fixed swmc so that this region change won't be necessary, if you can test it after I release it that would be great.

I've been struggling for a week with this bug.
I really like serverwmc because it's so easy to setup.
Even though I had to fumble with wmc to enable atsc
Since I live in canada and microsoft doesn't support
This feature in my location. Still...
Anyway,
Let me know when and where I can put my hands on
This new build.

I just released a preview version of swmc (1234) that should fix this problem. Please test it when you can, by reverting windows back to the region you had before. Thanks.

I have the same issue and when I click upgrades or go to the googledrive it says 404 error.
