Hi guys, I hope this is the right place to ask  I currently do Ghost Hunting tours for my city and I do a presentation via laptop (windows 10 with powerpoint) and LCD screen/tv and a powered speaker. Way too much to carry around, the solution I think is a Raspberry Pi and Kodi in OSMC. All my presentation files are videos, and I play them in sequence one at a time via mouse click. Is it possible to do the same thing but with a remote and a playlist of sorts that can be controlled or played by using the remote?
Kodi won't understand powerpoint files, but I believe powerpoint has an export to jpeg option.
You can then add that directory to photos and use a slideshow to navigate through the jpegs.
Files I am using are video format anyways, so I can just put them in a local dir or thumb drive and maybe put in a play list that I can control via remote.
