1. The message is misleading, in my case the channel cannot be tuned into. This is not the same as no tuner being available (any longer)
2. The messages stays on screen for at least a minute?!

What addon are you using? It sounds like the addon keeps showing a new notification all the time, which is why you see it for a minute. By default it will go away after a few seconds.
