I was wondering if anyone else has had to deal with this....

I set up to record a season of Empire (show about hip-hop, etc.). When I brought up the context menu on the folder and did a scan for more info, it came back with the "cover art" for a western called Empire that aired back in the 1960s.

Is there an easy way to fix this? Is there some config that I can tell the system to not record anything before a certain date?

It's listed here, https://thetvdb.com/index.php?tab=series...1617&lid=7 as Empire (2015) and the IMdb as tt3228904, perhaps adding the date in brackets will pull it out, worked for me.

Yep, that took care of it. It even seemed to "move" the 1 program I had recorded (of Empire (2015)) into the new folder and essentially "deprecated" the old folder.
