New to all this, I have put kodi on a amaazzzoonnn f/S and was happy with the skin until I went to a friends house and they had a different skin. It's so much easier to use. When they go to films for example it comes up with all the ad ons underneath directly where as I have to go to movies then ad ons and then select the link from a huge list.
I can send images if required?

Pictures would be a good idea. But I suspect that your friend has installed a "build" these usually have addons installed automatically. Builds & dodgy addons are not supported here.

Why not just ask your friend?

I would probably guess without pictures they were using Confluence default skin, which if you were on 17.0 Krypton build you wouldn't have had any longer as the default.

Sounds like they're probably using a custom build with the Aeon Nox skin
