Hi guys cant seem to find an answer. Im currently running kodi 16.1 or .2 on the shield tv and cant seem to get DD+ to passthough . Is this a known issue ?
I am having the same problem on my Shield TV. When I have AC3 or DDS enabled, I get static when viewing TV or Files.
You need to try SPMC or update Kodi 17.
Tried SPMC, same deal. I can disable AC3 but enable DDS on SPMC and it works for some things, but not others. But any time I enable AC3, static. Vudu works fine...
Got this fixed... On the shield settings -> HDMI -> changed from CEC to Fixed audio. Possibly a bug between shield, kodi, and denon receivers...
FYI, I did speak with Nvidia tech support about this. They said that they're going to try to fix the CEC problem.
