Hi all,

When playing a live TV stream, I try to set my de-interlacing option from off to on, but the option is greyed out when I try to change it from the onscreen video option tab.

I'm using a nexus player and am streaming Australian PAL TV.

Kodi 16 the option is not greyed out, I can change it. I have it set to on as there is stutter when it is off or set to auto.

I have the same issue with Nexus Player. Did you fix it?

No one answered about the deinterlace issue. I posted issue for months.

Sorry all....no fix. I couldn't find any reasons on the forum for this to be so.

VLC for FireTV works with HDHomeRun and deinterlaces. It looks great.

I love Kodi and it's my go to, but VLC works better on FireTV with HomeRunHD.
