Hi guys,

after the last update (libreelec v7.95.1 - Kodi v17.0-RC3) i get picture flapping artefacts on the liveTV-stream. (at the button) But only on SD streams. HD streams are normal.

hardware:
raspberry Pi 3.

may you have some ideas?

best regards
trayntab
Moving to Raspberry Pi forum.

Is the problem new to v7.95.1? What build were you previously on?
yes it's new the last release was libreelec v7.90.010 with Kodi v17-beta7
Can you test the firmware linked to here?
Hi,

Could you please post a screenshot? I reported some issues, and it would be good to see if your problem is the same.

Ah - you are doing software decode of MPEG-2 I guess?
That is something I am working on.

(an MPEG-2 codec licence would avoid the bug, but there should be a fix soon).
oh, okay i use the auto deinterlacer-method.

the player-info:
video decoder: ff-mpeg2video-mmal (SW)
deinterlacer: adv(x2)

i think that's it?

sound promising!

Thank you soooo much for your work =)
@traybtab can you give this a test?

Hi,

Does this build

http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=...pid2508395

include this fix? Looks from the description that it might. If so, it doesn't fix it for me. If anything, that build is a bit worse.

Sorry!

No you need to use the test firmware I linked to a few posts back.
The fix should be in tonight's Milhouse build.

Thanks. I've got a flirc case, so it's a nightmare getting the card out to put it in USB reader to update firmware. I'll wait for tonight's build.

I really do appreciate your help.
