First post so forgive me if I've not quite posted in the right place have just upgraded to kodi version 17 on my laptop running Windows 10. Films run fine full screen till I shut down the lid then they resize to the left hand corner of the screen. Looked on the net cannot find a solution, was not having this problem when I was running kodi version 16

There isn't a programs option on the home screen ?
That happened to me with v16 and was caused by kodi running in a "fullscreen window" rather than real fullscreen mode. Check the setting in kodi at settings > system > display > use fullscreen window. It should be unchecked.
That's great unchecked the option as you said, no more issues, thankyou it has been winding me up for the last 2 weeks
