Just installed v17 on top of 16. Windows 10. Now all the movies play in slow motion like it's 10 fps only. Complete reisntall recommended?

I would like to add that audio passthrough is enabled. All video post processing - disabled. And correction it's not like 10 fps. It's like a slideshow.
All the syn to display - disabled. It's a VM running on top of ESXi. Looking at the CPU utlization and memory usage - even less than v16. Streange...

Did I get that right? You're running Kodi in a virtual memory configuration on top of ESXi it includes and integrates vital OS components, such as a kernel. Debug log requested. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VMware_ESXi at first I thought what a wonderful way to get slow mo..... then as the set-up sunk in, it's no.
Why not entertain a 'portable install' from some USB key or something, then you can yank it out as it suits. http://kodi.wiki/view/Windows_FAQ#Portable grab the version from the download link top left.
