Hello
I have downloaded Kodi 17 at my bohdi 4.0.0 Linux laptop. But i have a big problem. Kodi plays videos stored in the laptop's local storage ultra slow. A black screen shows up, only with the cursor and the video does not play.

I haven't change any settings.

You got an ultra slow 10 years old cpu.

The only thing coming to my mind is: Disable Dithering in the Videoplayer settings.

Anyway, how do i disable dithering?? I search kodi settings but i didnt find it. Also nothing at google.

Honest to god suggestion. Use an older version of Kodi. HOWEVER, this is all CPU & GPU intensive so you're gonna be limited.

The other option is to encode your movies differently to ensure a smaller overall file size per movie.
