I run two versions of kodi on two android boxes. 17.3 and 16.3. They both use exactly same video library. Still, the 17.3 version shows a lower movie count than does 16.3. Is there a difference in how these versions coint movies?
I do have several movie collections, and some movies that are in parts.
Or do i need to figure out which movies havent been scraped? Is there an addon for that?

Use the missing movie plugin and let it tell you which files are not indexed.

Hit scan and watch the event log in system

Where is that log exactly?

No that;'s wrong.

Just go the the settings panel

I dont get messages in the log when updating. However, i noticed something else. In the home view (metropolis skin) i get 1230 movies (about right). When i go into movies screen, it shows 1110. How come?

There is a "set folder" option but its inactive. Where does it piut the output when exporting?
