I'll be dualbooting
XBMC Live (4GB) /// Windows 7 (whats left) (wiki)
You think this machine will be able to play full bluray streams (m2ts) without any problems ?
In XBMC Live (at least) I promise. I do.

No reviews to prove/deny - hopefully soon!
Why dual boot between XBMC live and Win 7? Why not just run it under Win 7?
Because (for what i've learned about xbmc so far) it runs smoother/faste on xbmc live,
faster bootups thats for sure. I have not tested it.
How do you do the dual boot? - I'm keen to do the same....

Hi Geeba,
try to do the following:
Format your HDD with the windows 7 install dvd,
Install Windows 7 on a part of your hdd (so leave a piece of it unformatted).
Then install XBMC live on the unformatted space;
grub will make the right menu.lst.
Other option:
Install windows 7 on your hdd, use a 4GB usb to put xbmc live on, if you want to boot xbmc live, insert the usb and boot from usb.
If you want to boot windows 7, just pull out the usb and boot...
So it should be real easy. Let me know
Voila it's ordered,
2 things have changed
I took the Kingston SSDnow 30GB instead of OCZ's Onyx
Sexy case from linkworld (LC920-01).
I'll post a review of the setup if there is any interest in it... let me know

There will be definite interest in the setup here - really keen to see if this new ASUS board can run totally passive...

The case has a fan on the side, i'll do temperature tests with and without the fan
Great setup! I am looking forward to your review.
Some questions:
- Why did you switch to the Kingston SSD since write speeds are worse? Just since the price is better?
- The case looks a great deal for €40! 150W seems a little overkill to me.

Thanks for doing these tests when you get the parts. I am pretty sure a lot of us here are looking at this new ASUS board as the final answer for a capable fanless systems. Keep us posted.
