RE: "iPlayer WWW" add-on - CaptainT - 2020-11-05 (2020-10-26, 00:04)Shasarak Wrote: The BBC has now made "Seven Worlds: One Planet" available in 4K HLG/HDR again. Is there any way to play the 4K HLG stream through this add-on?Sorry for the late reply, I keep loosing notifications for this thread. No, the add-on does not support any on demand 4K content at the moment. I tried version alpha3 with no luck.(2020-09-08, 19:33)CaptainT Wrote: That problem was reported on GitHub yesterday for some episodes of Battlestar Galactica. The cause is that some programmes currently do not contain any streams using the mediaselector the add-on is based on. Nothing I can do there at the moment except switch to a different mediaselector all together. I'd like to try and sit this one out. If the mediaselector is really being discontinued, I have an alternative available.I've been using 3.0.49 alpha2 since my reply to this thread on 3rd August but unfortunately there has been no improvement. They are using a totally different system based on HbbTV, which is incompatible with the way the add-on (and the website) works.(2020-11-05, 21:49)CaptainT Wrote: No, the add-on does not support any on demand 4K content at the moment.Might it in the future? RE: "iPlayer WWW" add-on - maurozzo - 2020-11-06 Hi, just to report a minor glitch in the 3.0.48 and 2.5.55 plugin. "Surgeons: at the edge of life" doesn't show up in the Programme list A-Z but does so when doing a search or browsing Highlights->Collection: Documentaries RE: subtitles broken for some titles - numbetto - 2020-11-19 (2020-11-05, 21:51)CaptainT Wrote:Thank you very much for your reply. I'll try to investigate why. I can access without problems from windows 10 from my network through the BBC iPlayer website.(2020-10-20, 19:15)numbetto Wrote:Sounds like Akamai thinks you are not allowed to access the stream. Kodi 19 Matrix Support? - deepeeme - 2020-11-24 Just to ask if you will be adding support for Kodi 19 as I can't see anything on your GitHub pages or the kodi 19 addon test repo? Also just to mention that the forum thread URL listed on your GitHub page and your Kodi addon page both reference a dead link: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=239378 Thanks RE: Kodi 19 Matrix Support? - FXB78 - 2020-11-24 (2020-11-24, 01:39)deepeeme Wrote: Just to ask if you will be adding support for Kodi 19 as I can't see anything on your GitHub pages or the kodi 19 addon test repo?Great question, I only use a handful of addons and without BBC & ITV I think I'll be stuck on 18 forever! Two great addons for UK users, it would be such a shame if they were lost. Two great addons for UK users, it would be such a shame if they were lost. Apart from YouTube which I only have installed for trailers, this is the only video addon I still use in Kodi. It will be a shame if it doesn't work in Kodi 19, however I am very grateful for the many years of use I have had from this addon and can't thank @CaptainT enough for it, but I fully understand that he may not want to put the effort into rewriting it again. Two great addons for UK users, it would be such a shame if they were lost. Thank you for your suggestion CaptainT. I downloaded plugin.video.iplayerwww-revert-332-krypton.zip from GitHub and tried to install it on a test system I've been running on a RPi3 with Libreelec (community): nightly-20201121 (Kodi19.0-BETA1 18.9.801) It failed and returned "The dependancy on xbmc.python version version 2.25.0 on could not be satisfied" Any more thoughts? Thanks RE: "iPlayer WWW" add-on - deepeeme - 2020-11-26 PS: I just tried altering addon.xml to: <requires> <import addon="xbmc.python" version="3.0.0"/> But it returned: addon failed to installl from zipfile due to an invalid structure RE: "iPlayer WWW" add-on - CaptainT - 2020-11-26 (2020-11-26, 06:00)deepeeme Wrote: PS: I just tried altering addon.xml to:Thanks. That means it won't be possible to have a compatible version which works pre-19 and on 19. Annoying.
