Clearly a April Fools, but if the truth be said, I couldn't care less what its called, in-spite of personal preferences. Im pretty sure the Hoff has enough cheese to share with XBMC.

Well, considering a large share of the developers are German, maybe XBMC Hansel.
Or a few more suggestions:
XBMC Hillwood (from Hey! Arnold)
XBMC Hyborian
XBMC Halla
Or maybe something practical like XBMC Hyperpig - people will remember that.

I know that XBMC as infected our DNA like a virus but Helix is also a nebula :

Helix Nebula is a real place, but I'm sure some sci-if story takes place there.
Helix is the name of a town in some 80s D&D cartoon.
There's a TV show that just came out called Helix. I haven't seen it, but it's on the SyFy channel, so I'm sure it's horrible.

Obviously some votes were going to tip towards Helix, Im not surprised it won, in any case, saying XBMC Helix, doesn't cause you to spit all over everyone and is pronounceable, which was admittedly my only concern. Now you can say that the The double Helix in DNA is the X in XBMC
