back at home. and tested.
im not that familiar with runlevels thats why i took a picture of the screen when it freezes.
seems that following line:
ata3.00: qc timed out
is the problem. luigi do you have some more tipps ?

I'm not sure, but that looks like a problem with your sata controller...
Do your sata drives work once booted into xbmc live?

matt: seems you were right. after setting SATA LEGACY MODE to ON in the bios theres no delay anymore, xbmc boots in about 20 secs. great.
now i need to get the xbmc menu interface back on again. seems there is a new error. i have a blank black screen with mouse working. give you feedback soon
