RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - anty - 2016-08-16 I have a new htpc here with Intel 6100T (HD 530 graphics) and a very strange issue. Randomly every 1-3 minutes there is ~5 frame drops when using madVR. Kodi EVR is fine. Avg rendering time in a 24p 1080p movie is ~2ms. Max rendering time is ~7ms. After tweaking literally everything (BIOS, drivers, Windows, madVR) issue still persists. Now turning on debugging in Kodi gui seems to resolve the problem. Avg rendering is still ~2ms. Max rendering comes down to ~2ms and there are no frame drops. What is debugging doing besides writing to the log file and putting stats on the screen? What is happening? Found log settings in advancedsettings.xml Unfortunately with disabling text on screen (level 1) issue comes back. So the workaround is not good. RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - blackbanana - 2016-08-17 Hey, Im using kodi 16.1 jarvis with DSplayer, LAV filters, Xysubfilters and madVR. Whenever i play a video it gets zoomed and i can only see 1/4 of the picture. If i use windowed mode it works. Debug log: http://pastebin.com/Ldje1qU5 I have tried:
Another problem im experiencing is when i open the property page for all the internal filters it doesnt show everything. Picture: http://imgur.com/a/lkKEF Thank you in advance guys! This is probably a bug in DSPlayer. I don't know how to fix it without disabling the zoom. Does MPC-HC work or does it also show the same problem? Try accessing video settings during playback to see if the zoom settings there have changed. The only way I have been able to make it work is just delete them, and only define the 1080 resolutions. Then the image is perfect no matter what. I'm using Kodi 16.1 with dsplayer in combination with svp. (smooth video project) This is working great for local files and internet streams but with live TV I'm getting an error. With dsplayer disabled it is working. So I want to use dsplayer for local files and streams, and DVD player for live TV. I know I can set some Merritts in dsplayer settings, but I have no idea what kind of rule I need to add.. Has anyone an idea? I'm using dvblink for live TV.. I tried decreasing it to 100% but i still got the zoom problem in kodi and i cant have it on 100% anyway since my resolution is 3840x2160 and everything is to tiny at 100% zoom. If i press "\" button twice in kodi it works. But i would rather like it to work normally when i play a video without having to press "\" everytime i want to watch something. IMAGE: http://imgur.com/a/zje6j I would rather use DSplayer. But i will try with MPC-HC. RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - Derek - 2016-08-18 so your not using full screen you have it in a window? as i have my XBMC at 4k res and all my movies play at 100% in dsplayer Maybe a bit more information? ? Thank you! Image: http://imgur.com/a/32TH9 Should i use these displaymodes or should i add some more refresh rates? And you can access any option in LAV Filters or XYSubFilter by remote. RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - Warner306 - 2016-08-18 If you want, you can leave display modes empty and have Kodi change refresh rates. This found in Video -> Playback. This found in Video -> Playback. Last I tried, Kodi's own refresh rate changing didn't work well with variable frame rate videos shot on a smartphone. When frame rates momentarily dipped very low, Kodi would erroneously proceed to change the refresh rate before realizing the refresh rate indeed should NOT be changed. This refresh rate lottery resulted in an accompanying distracting black screen flash. In fact, this was the final deciding factor for me to switch to madVR/dsplayer and I've NEVER had a similar problem since! I added 2160p23 and 2160p59 and its working properly. Do you have any solution to the other problem? As you can see.. I cant see all the options in property page. Can i change these settings from anywhere else?
