On my mac (10.7 eden b1) this works fine but on my xbmclive boxes (ubuntu 11.10 eden b1) the top250 number is displayed scrambled and is unreadable. Any idea why?

The top 250 is in the first picture (at "IMDb:" ). Ill post a screendump of the xbmclive box as well. Info in the database is fine.
Might be an issue with my plasma tv....(refresh rate or something??)

OKay, I expected to see scrambled text in the second picture.

Okay, now transparancy bug is fixed. But, the stable version of Aeon NOX in the official xbmc repo is really sluggish. Menu lags while starting, when entering movies, almost everywhere. To compare i installed one of the old svn versions again, and it's smooth like butter again. So it's not xbmc.

That's impossible because the SVN version is nearly identical to the one in the xbmc repo. Except for some minor tweaks.

Well i don't know what have changed since the 22nd, but that svn is much smoother then the official add-on.

Could be the watchlist script. If you have any of the watchlist widgets or the "featured" menu item active it will run the watchlist script. Maybe none of those are activated in your svn version and are in the repo version?
