RE: Intel-specific HTPC/NUC selection w/reliable MVC 3D ISO - hdmkv - 2016-04-15 i3 or i5 would be safest bets. Latter is a bit overkill for Kodi use, but if you can get a good deal, yes. Dell 3050 remains a good option, but at $150 (as I'm not seeing those $99 or less sales lately), you may as well spring for i3. Should have bought the i3 ($130), I guess I don't like the easy way out RE: Intel-specific HTPC/NUC selection w/reliable MVC 3D ISO - Skank - 2016-04-15 (2016-04-15, 16:51)movie78 Wrote:(2016-04-15, 16:41)hdmkv Wrote: i3 or i5 would be safest bets. How could you make it happen, that you can play "real" 3D (not e.g. side-by-side) with Kodi? Is that now possible with e.g. Kodi 16? Is it also possible to output MKV 3D MVC as 3D? Until know I could output these file as 2D. RE: Intel-specific HTPC/NUC selection w/reliable MVC 3D ISO - Skank - 2016-04-15 Yes got it working! Atmos, dtshd, truehd all working and this with 0 audio sync issues! Yes im sure , perfect sync! Tested with several movies. So happy . Tested on nuc dn2820 but with 2830. Antman, the walk, all perfect sync.. one thing i have is skipped frames in beginning , sometimes 20 , sometimes 30 but never more than 35 RE: Intel-specific HTPC/NUC selection w/reliable MVC 3D ISO - movie78 - 2016-04-15 (2016-04-15, 22:07)Skank Wrote: Yes got it working! RE: Intel-specific HTPC/NUC selection w/reliable MVC 3D ISO - Skank - 2016-04-15 Latest, lip sync is perfect, right on the spot! Also, @dukester, yours is N2820 right, and @Skank's N2830? Guess latter is a h/w rev by Intel. @Skank, which graphics/driver version? Beta drivers are good for 4th gen and up Intel gear. RE: Intel-specific HTPC/NUC selection w/reliable MVC 3D ISO - hdmkv - 2016-04-16 I get a 'page not found' as the last part of the URL has /25848/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40-, then rest is missing after the dash. RE: Intel-specific HTPC/NUC selection w/reliable MVC 3D ISO - noggin - 2016-04-16 Link works for me : https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25848/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40- When I go to the page linked in the post, the URL has nothing after the 40- (I'm using the Win 7/8.1 drivers specifically recommended for my i5 4250U NUC so haven't installed them yet) |
